ABOUT THE STRIDERS

Owasso Striders Sasquatch Mascot

The Owasso Striders Running Club was established in 2012 with the purpose of providing structured training and team building for high school and junior high cross-country athletes.

In our first year, we had 10 full-time runners.  Since 2012 we have grown to nearly 200 athletes each summer and expanded to elementary-age runners as well as a Sprinters Camp, Throwers Camp, and Vault Camp.

Our goal is to create a positive atmosphere where young athletes can grow their potential, reach their goals, and develop a life-long love of the amazing sport of running.

Practices start and end on the Owasso High School campus at the Track and Cross Country Fieldhouse located between the Track and the Football Stadium.
