MEET OUR COACHES
Coach Parker is the long-time Head Track Coach of Owasso High School. An Owasso graduate himself, Coach Parker coaches girls sprints in the spring, is an assistant Cross Country coach in the fall, and heads up the sprint program for the Striders in the summer. Coach Parker is a Level I USATF Coach.
Coach Collins has been the Head Cross Country Coach at Owasso High School since 2012. An indoor All-American at Oklahoma Christian University, Coach Collins coaches distance runners in Track, Cross Country, and for the Striders. Coach Collins is a Level II USATF Endurance Coach
Coach Standridge has coached endurance runners since 2018. Another Owasso graduate, she is currently an assistant Cross Country, Track, & Girls Basketball coach for Owasso High school. Since joining the Owasso Cross Country team the girls have finished as State Runner Up twice and won the 2020 OK State Championship. Coach Standridge is a Level I USATF coach.
Having the longest stride of any known, bipedal animal, Sasquatch is a natural choice for the Owasso Striders mascot. Making a few surprise visits each summer, Sasquatch leads the team in quiet meditation sessions and ultra-challenging games of hide and seek.
