MEET OUR COACHES
STEVE PARKER
​
Coach Parker is the long-time Head Track Coach of Owasso High School. An Owasso graduate himself, Coach Parker is a member of the Owasso Hall of Fame and has coached for 30 years. Coach Parker is a Level I USATF Coach.
BLAKE COLLINS
​
Coach Collins has been the Head Cross Country Coach at Owasso High School since 2012. An indoor All-American at Oklahoma Christian University, Coach Collins has coached distance runners in Track and Cross Country for 25 years. Coach Collins is a Level II USATF Endurance Coach
Jonathan Washington
​
Coach Washington has over 15 years of track coaching experience. The athletes in Coach Washington's program have documented success, have been state champions and have earned All- American status in college. Coach Washington is a USATF level 1 certified coach, USTFCCCA certified speed specialist, and is certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a performance enhancement specialist.
Jesse Washington
​
Jessie Washington has been coaching at Owasso for 2 years. She has over 10 years experience coaching track and field, girls and boys 400 meters and down. She has coached countless state champions and is proven as an invaluable sprint coach for the state, boasting the current state record holder in the boys 4x1. She is certified as a USATF Level 1 coach.
Victor Marquez

A graduate of Owasso High School and a collegiate pole vaulter at Southern Nazarene University, Coach Marquez has been coaching vaulters for over ten years. He has coached multiple 6A State Qualifiers and podium finishers for both Owasso and Booker T. Washington. He also rides a bike to work occasionally.
Racheal Graddy
​
One of the best distance coaches in Oklahoma, Coach Graddy has won four girls cross country state championships and two track state championships as well as multiple individual titles for the girls she's coached. Her experience and intensity push our girls teams to be better and better every year.
Sierra Clark
​
Originally from California, Coach Clark was a high school water polo star but has become an invaluable member of the Striders coaching staff. She has a gift for helping young athletes through difficult days and helps keep them focused and working hard for each other.
SASQUATCH
​
Having the longest stride of any known, bipedal animal, Sasquatch is a natural choice for the Owasso Striders mascot. Making a few surprise visits each summer, Sasquatch leads the team in quiet meditation sessions and ultra-challenging games of hide and seek.
